Cedar Park's New Veterans Memorial
On Saturday, November 12, 2011, the long-awaited Veterans Memorial in Cedar Park finally made its grand debut. On that brisk, sunny day, approximately 600 people joined together at Veterans Memorial Park to honor and show gratitude to our Veteran heroes. Seated at the bottom of the gentle hill, onlookers faced the highest elevation in Cedar Park, where the Veterans Monument was concealed from view by a large parachute, waiting to be revealed.

He moved to what was then a relatively small town in 1958 and later served on the city council and as mayor in 1979.
